i9 Sports is the first and largest youth sports league franchise business in the United States with over 2 million registrations across the country. With a focus on age-appropriate instruction, healthy competition, and good sportsmanship i9 Sports offer youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for boys and girls in sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball and more.

The Process: A Three Day Video Shoot with i9 Sports

Over a three day video shoot across three different locations we helped i9 Sports create a large portfolio of video content for their brand. With a crew and cast of 75 people, this video shoot allowed us to repurpose content for them for over a year.

Why Does This Matter?

Three days worth of shooting gave i9 Sports years worth of evergreen content.

2. It gives i9 Sports different assets to use for digital advertising campaigns

Outcomes

The sport specific videos live on sport specific landing pages, which drive more leads.

In fact, research shows that using videos on a landing page can increase conversions by 86% (Source)

The i9 Sports “Mom Interviews” have been used to target moms in Facebook ad campaigns.

These ads have converted at a 10% conversion rate with an average of 150-200 leads a month.

What’s Next

We are still coming up with ways to use this content. At their annual convention this year we set up a camera to highlight each franchisee. With this footage, i9 Sports is able to release location specific video content relevant to tighter audience targets. By creating both big brand content and hyperlocal content, we can stay true to the corporate brand that i9 Sports has built but satisfy their franchisees at a local level.
